8:25 AM. Meeting was called to order by Chair, Pat Murphy. The meeting agenda was discussed, and the minutes from last year’s NC129 meeting were accepted without any additional comments.
Bev Durgan, the NC1025 administrator made her welcome statement. She also informed the group of the up-coming deadlines including the Termination Report for the NC129 project and the 2006 Annual Report for NC1025. Gretchen Kuldau was recognized and thanked for putting together a NC1025 Impact Statement with very short notice.
The station reports began at 8:45 AM with presentations from Gretchen Kuldau for Pennsylvania, Charlene Wolf-Hall and James Sasanya (graduate student) for North Dakota, Frances Trail for Michigan, David Kendra for ARS-NCAUR, Suzanne Hendrich for Iowa, Wanda Haschek-Hock for Illinois, and Charles Woloshuk for Indiana.
The Chair, Pat Murphy, brought the business meeting to order at 1 PM.
Some time was taken to discuss the reports that are due in the upcoming months. Pat
Murphy agreed to organize the Termination Report for NC129. Gretchen Kuldau
will organize the 2006 Annual Report.
The meeting continued with the election of a new Secretary (Charlene Wolf-Hall),
and the sites for future meetings were discussed. Next year’s meeting
(2007) will be in Pennsylvania, organized by the new Chair, Gretchen Kuldau. The
new vice-chair, Charles Woloshuk, will organize the 2008 meeting.
The remainder of the business meeting was spent discussing the NC1025 milestones.
