Reciprocal Permits

Welcome to the Private Pesticide Applicator Recertification Program (PARP) website.

A private pesticide applicator is anyone who applies pesticides to property they own, rent or otherwise control, for the purpose of producing an agricultural commodity. Any private applicator wishing to buy and use restricted-use pesticides must be certified and possess a current pesticide applicator permit issued by the Office of the Indiana State Chemist (OISC).

Why become a certified pesticide applicator?

Certification demonstrates your responsibility for

  • Personal, family, and employee health and safety;
  • Community welfare;
  • Protection of land and water.

Certification makes good sense. Promote the prudent use of pesticides. Present a professional public image.
