How
does an out-of-state private applicator obtain a reciprocal permit
for Indiana?
The actual process will remain the
same. The private applicator must go to the extension office in
the county where pesticides will be applied. The private applicator
will show the extension educator their valid permit from their
resident state, complete a permit application in the presence
of the educator, and submit the form and $10 to the OISC. The
reciprocal form will have the same expiration as their resident
state permit. Out-of-state farmers are not required to attend
the pesticide recertification programs.
