While academic courses provide
a strong background in your major, you may choose to
work with faculty to gain skills that will help in your future career.
Part-time jobs.
Many students work part-time with faculty doing research in the field or laboratory.
We keep a file of available part-time jobs and are happy to help
you find work.
Research projects. Part-time jobs often turn into undergraduate research projects where you
work with graduate students, post-doctoral scholars, and faculty to design and carry out a specific research
project. Often, undergraduates assisting with research have co-authorship publications.
Sometimes these projects lead to special scholarships and may entitle you to graduate with Honors.
